Small entrepreneurs grow up

"Small entrepreneurs grow up", born from a partnership with the Salerno Chamber of Commerce and aimed at 40 young minds, is an experiential learning path that aims to spread the so-called corporate culture. The students, coming from 8 schools distributed in the Province of Salerno, were accompanied in the process of designing and transforming the business plan through individual and group tests. The traditional classroom activity, accompanied by laboratory activities, has facilitated the transfer of technical knowledge but also the training of the main softs skills of the entrepreneurial role - problem-solving, team working, and public speaking - attitudes which are considered essential to create an awareness of "doing business". The direct observation of the business activity in 3 different companies in the area, together with the testimonies of three entrepreneurs each operating in one of the reference sectors in which business ideas have found their shape, have created a protected and favorable environment in which to do business. The activities were carried out under the observation of a psychologist, prof. Ruggero Andrisano Ruggieri, Head of the Laboratory of Methodologies for Psychological Intervention at the Università degli Studi di Salerno.
